EUROGRAPHICS JIGSAW PUZZLE REVIEWS

Colour! This Higasa jigsaw puzzle is so full of brilliant colours and the Artist has four more at Eurograhics all of which display a wonderful array of colours. I am quiet attracted to the oriental themes as well. I can only imagine what all five would look like together on the wall...awesome! I was lucky to get this one at the Thrift Store for $2.00 with NO missing pieces! Puzzle BINGO!!

On the Higasa jigsaw puzzle I started with the green umbrella first which led to the shoes, then the gold walkway, into the red rail and dark green foliage. I then focused on the whites and blacks including her face and hair. The pink flowers and building in the background were next followed by the blue hues. The brown/gold leaves were the trickiest area but the random shapes were very helpful for that.

Eurographics Higasa Jigsaw Puzzle is an image theme that I have been hoping to assemble for some time now. I have seen these image-types several times in the jigsaw puzzle Groups and then noted that Eurographics started to sell them as well. 

I highly recommend trying these Eurographics jigsaw puzzles. This one was a real delightful experience. I have done several puzzles in this brand and one of my most favourites is the Holiday Cats.  If you go to the website you can just type in the Artist on the Search box and easily see all five puzzles in this series. Not only that....you will see the mega amount of other puzzles this company produces. They  are a well stocked Canadian company.

Instead of leaving the edge border pieces in a pile I laid them out onto a foam board so it made it a tad easier when starting the border. It was not too difficult to assemble the border.

This puzzle takes up 4 foam boards plus another portion for the edge pieces. Then it was a matter of assembling the most outstanding patches of colors and placing the images approximately into the correct area on the puzzle. Once that was accomplished, it was only a matter of placing the white-outline-picture-borders into the correct place.

Eurographics Globetrotters World Jigsaw Puzzle is an image within a Series that I have been hoping to assemble for some time now. I have seen them several times in the jigsaw puzzle Groups. There are 12 Globetrotters images in this series!

Donut Rainbow Jigsaw Puzzle

I requested to review the Donut Rainbow jigsaw puzzle (Amazon link) because it comes in a round tin container as shown below. These novelty tin jigsaw puzzles at Eurographics will make terrific gifts for the upcoming season. It just so happens that this image was quite easy to assemble so it will not be discouraging for 'newbie' puzzler.

Donut Jigsaw Puzzle Assembly

I did my usual sorting routine.

1. Sorting to locate all  the outside border pieces, while....

2. Placing the pieces into the 'general-color' piles. 

3. Then I carried on with a second round of sorting (similar colors sorted by shades/patterns) while placing the pieces flat out on the poster boards. 

The pieces are random cut but following the poster and the decor on the coloured Donuts were easily placed.

I 'did' have 2 work-in-progress images to share however a computer glitch is preventing them from being scaled therefore not allowing them to be uploaded. I am hoping to recover them at some point in the future but time does not permit that right now.
