Christmas Puzzle-Lego Village Display
Welcome to our jigsaw puzzle website and thanks for stopping by to read our review on two Christmas puzzles and five plus Lego packages. We combined puzzles with our Christmas Tram Village Lego sets to create a Christmas display as the Tram rides around the village in real time using the Lego PoweredUP APP including train track/Christmas sound effects.

For the backdrop we assembled the Holidays In New York 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle, designed by Robert Finale, in New York City. Brand: Spillsbury. The magnificent Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and 30 Rockefeller Plaza puzzle measures 24"X30". Scroll further down for the review.
The side panels used are two Lego Christmas Train Puzzles with Four Connecting 100-Piece Puzzles. Each puzzle measures 7.5 x 8.25-inch each when fully assembled, 8.25 x 30 inches when combined. Scroll down for review.
We two-way taped 12 White Baseplates onto a 30" x 42" table. It takes 3 packs of the City Tracks to make the complete circle track (the circular tracks are needed from the two extra packs. We are saving the extra tracks for a bigger track next year.)
The Holiday Main Street includes the Tram but not the electronics required for operation with the PowerUP Lego APP. We had to purchase the light, cable hookup and electronic hub as advertised in the catalogue, separately. They were on back order and we had to wait 6 months for them to become available.
The Winter Market Stall, Burger House Building, Green Pine Trees, and Present 2018 Store were all added new this year. The Village Gate was assembled through the book Expanding the Lego Winter Village Volume 4 where it lists all the parts and we searched online to purchase the parts separately. We managed to gather all the parts through 2 different buyers however one piece was missing however it is not terribly noticeable.
We used Lego pieces from the LEGO Classic Creative Suitcase we received as a free gift for purchasing over $300 worth of groceries at the Superstore. We assembled the extras walls around the Present 2018 Store and the Train Station Stop in the centre of the display.
Special note to see Santa flying in the air, hung from the ceiling using fishing line. Note also in the centre beyond the black Entrance Gate, there are carollers in a circle around the Christmas Tree.

Lego Christmas Train Jigsaw Puzzle
This puzzle was chosen to use for the assembly of the Lego Christmas Seasonal display above. Two were purchased to use a Lego side wall-back-drops. They were mounted on each side of the display.
The cuts were the same on both boxes. They come in 4, 100 pieces and assemble easily. The cut and quality is great. I put wide tape on the back.
They definitely enhance the sides of the Lego Christmas Seasonal display above, matching the colours and theme perfectly.

The size of this puzzle makes the actual jigsaw puzzle pieces to be bigger than other brands. User friendly for sensitive hands. Random cuts assist for easier assembly. The image seemed a little muted for my liking and the painted artwork tended to appear in the paint-brush-stroke manner but not as bad as some I have assembled in the past.
I purposely chose this puzzle to use as a backdrop for the Lego Christmas Seasonal display above. Overall, it's a fun puzzle to do at Christmas.
